Institution · 2026 edition
Thirty years of digital inclusion in Africa.
The story of a bet held — and of an ambition that carries on.
History
A bet made in 1995. Held in 2026.
ACERFI was born in 1995, at a time when digital technology was, on this continent, more a promise than a shared reality. The institution was founded on a simple and demanding intuition: to make digital skills a common good, open without academic preconditions, but without giving up on rigorous teaching.
For two decades, the institution built its programmes, trained its first teachers and formed lasting partnerships with public and private organisations in Cameroon. Cohort followed cohort, alumni spread out, and official accreditation from the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training confirmed the quality of an approach that had stayed true to its foundations.
From 2015, the offer widened. ACERFI no longer just trains: it supports, advises, integrates. A B2B division and growing consulting expertise — digital transformation, ERP, cybersecurity — answered a new demand from African organisations facing a digitisation that had become strategic.
Thirty years after the first class, ACERFI counts more than ten thousand alumni, works with major public institutions and carries an openly continental ambition. The 2026 edition marks both an anniversary and a milestone: that of an institution which has matured without ever betraying itself.
1995 — 2026
Thirty years in the same place, doing the same thing: passing it on.

Mission
One calling. Four commitments.
Bringing digital skills without ranking those who come for them. From the BEPC onwards. Without giving up on standards — and without conceding anything on the quality of teaching.
A benchmark institution
Thirty years of continuous teaching, official MINEFOP accreditation, and the trust of public and private organisations across the continent.
A mission of inclusion
Making digital professions accessible from the BEPC onwards. Whatever your academic level, with one requirement only: the will to move forward.
A living ecosystem
More than ten thousand alumni, a network of technical and institutional partners, and cohorts that keep helping one another long after the course.
A continental ambition
From advice to delivery, from initial training to large-scale digital transformation — Port Autonome de Kribi, Odoo, infrastructure.
Ecosystem
Nine entities. One shared discipline.
Each entity holds its own ground — training, creative work, audiovisual production, hospitality, digital services. All operate to the same institutional standards.
2026 campaign
Four doors into the institution.

Executive management
Welcome to ACERFI Formation, a key player in digital inclusion in Africa.
Guy Raoul Wasseu · Founder
Guy Raoul Wasseu, founder and Chief Executive.
Guy Raoul Wasseu founded ACERFI in 1995. Thirty years on, he remains its Chief Executive and its institutional voice. His path is that of a leader who refused, from the outset, the sterile opposition between academic standards and social inclusion.
His conviction takes few words: digital skill belongs to those who want to win it, not only to those already marked out by their school record. That conviction still shapes the whole ACERFI offer today — from the initial course open from the BEPC to the most demanding consulting work.
Under his leadership, the institution has widened its scope without ever diluting its standards. The maturing of the consulting division, the continental opening and the consolidation of the alumni network all follow one clear vision: ACERFI is not meant to be one school among others, but a benchmark institution, lastingly useful to an Africa going digital.
