The format

Three months, two hours a day.

The qualification

A CQP under MINEFOP accreditation.

  • Leads to the CQP — Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle, which the ministry used to call the AQP.
  • Awarded under MINEFOP accreditation.
  • The full programme for the same profession remains open to anyone aiming for the complete qualification.
Sessions

A new session opens every quarter.

Next intake: Monday 5 October, with enrolment open until 2 October. The following one starts on 4 January 2027.

Objectives

What you will be able to do.

  • Apply Cameroonian labour law: contracts, working hours, leave, termination

  • Calculate overtime, absences, paid leave and allowances

  • Build a complete payslip and justify it line by line

  • Calculate CNPS contributions: bases, rates, ceilings

  • Calculate the tax on wages and salaries and the related levies

  • Produce social and tax declarations and keep to the calendar

  • Set up payroll software and run a complete monthly cycle

Who it is for

Who it is aimed at.

  • Rigorous beginners. Some knowledge of accounting helps but is not required; the block starts from Cameroonian labour law as applied to payroll.
Afterwards

Where it leads.

  • Payroll manager, human resources assistant, payroll accountant. It is a job with a permanent skills shortage, and it is well paid.

  • Systematic alternation between short theory sessions and practical work, with most of the time spent on practice
