The programme
What it is.
Target audience and recommended prerequisites: Complete beginners, with no prior knowledge of networking or system administration. No technical prerequisites beyond basic ease with a computer. Holders of the INFRA-SUP block will find it the direct next step.
Network administrator certificate programme. 128 h over 3 months, with no work placement or dissertation. The holder can install and configure a company local area network. Leads to the CQP — Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle, which the ministry used to call the AQP. ACERFI invites MINEFOP to supervise the session: if it does, it co-signs the certificate; otherwise ACERFI signs it alone. The CQP examination fees, set by MINEFOP, come on top of the tuition: 35,000 FCFA. The full programme for the same trade — AI-augmented infrastructure, networks and cloud, 12-month MINEFOP-accredited DQP, 1,180 h — remains open to anyone aiming for the full qualification. Like all our programmes since this year, it includes an introductory core in AI and prompt engineering: professional software now comes with AI built in, and knowing how to steer it is part of the job.
